In 2015, UTas will be having its first bilateral exchange with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at the Nanyang Technological University. NUS is ranked the top Asian university, and both it and NTU are highly ranked world-wide.
This exchange is a good opportunity to exchange ideas with some of the brightest minds in Singapore and to experience medical education in a different country. It is also a fantastic opportunity to experience Singapore and its melting pot of cultures. Both the food and the architecture of its buildings have been markedly influenced by its heritage and the people who have made it their home. During this exchange, participants will be immersed not only academically, but also culturally and socially.
Participants will each be assigned a buddy to guide them throughout their stay. These buddies will then form the contingent visiting Hobart in June/July 2015, and you will in turn have the opportunity to host them here in Hobart.
